Firelighter wedges 1 kg bag

In this product, the wood fibres of the FLASH firing wool are crushed and pressed with a lot of wax to ignite. The high pressure compresses all the power in one firelighter. Only wood from responsibly managed forests (FSC® 100 %) and a plant-based wax are used. The result is an ecological lighter with up to 50 % longer burning time compared to normal FLASH firelighter wool. Ideal for barbecue, stove and fireplace. Corresponds to DIN 1860-3.

Product information

The firelighter wedges are produced exclusively in Germany, at the production site of BOOMEX GmbH in Alsfeld. During the production of the firelighter wool, cutting residues are sucked off, highly compressed and cut to wedges. The expansion of the mechanical equipment in recent years has significantly increased the degree of automation and the production capacity of the firelighter wood wool. BOOMEX GmbH operates the most modern production plant for firelighter wool in Europe at the Alsfeld plant. In addition to the FLASH brand, many of BOOMEX customers’ own brands from the food retail, discount and DIY sectors are produced here.
